It’s been a long held dream for us to set up one of these Tentipi tents on our land, both for ourselves to enjoy and to share with our friends on trips, retreats and summer holidays. It’s the perfect shelter for the nordic climate; sturdy, easy to heat up and cool down, and light enough to quickly pack on your back or inside a canoe for long distance back-country adventures. During the spring and summer months these are permanently set up and prepared for guests, they have wood-frame beds, a carpet and reindeer skin on the floor, and a small seating arrangement for inside and outside. For those who are staying in our ten tipi’s we have two compost toilets and an outdoor shower ready for use.
